Harold S. “Bud” Robinson- Age 88, of Warsaw passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Wyoming County Community Hospital after a long illness. He was born May 27, 1927 in Locke, NY to the late Levi M. Robinson and Flora (Whitney) Robinson. Bud lived in Warsaw most of his life and also maintained a home in the West Palm Beach, FL area.

Bud joined the United States Army and served in South Korea at the end of World War II. He was a longtime Insurance Agent and District Manager with State Farm Insurance. Bud was an avid golfer and owned and raced standard bred horses.

He was preceded in death by first wife Pauline McElwain Robinson and second wife Jean V. Robinson, sons Philip Robinson and Eric Robinson, five brothers, Francis Robinson, Merrit Robinson, Roy Robinson, Warren Robinson, Ralph Robinson, and two sisters, Alett Radzai, and Lena McDonald.

Surviving are his children, Douglas (Nancy) Robinson of Warsaw, Sally (William) Holley of Leonardtown, MD, Brian (Susan) Robinson of Longs, SC, and Lisa Philipson of Clifton Springs, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his best friend Inge Andalora.

Friends may call Friday, February 19 from 4 – 7 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw, where his service will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 11 AM.
