LAGRANGE — Mary A. Palmer, age 76, of LaGrange Road, LaGrange, passed away peacefully, at home, Monday. Sept. 14, 2020. Mary was born in Brockport, February 24, 1944, the daughter of the late Eugene W. and Ruth E. Rodgers Howard. A resident of LaGrange since 1988, Mary worked for Eastman Kodak in Rochester as an assembler in copy products for 27 years before retiring in 1997. A longtime member of LaGrange Baptist Church, Mary enjoyed traveling with her late husband, reading, knitting, crocheting. Mary was a beloved friend to many. She truly loved everyone and was very supportive of her family and friends. She enjoyed singing as she had a beautiful singing voice.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Palmer, just a year ago on Sept. 27, 2019; a grandson, Samuel Palmer; and a sister, Gail Loomis.
Survivors include a son, Chris (Melissa) Palmer of LaGrange; a daughter, Catheryn (Jared) Speechley of Wyoming; four grandchildren, Chyann Potts of Tennessee, Sabrina Potts of Ohio, Erik Potts of LaGrange, and Jennifer Yontz of Texas; two sisters, Judith (Donald) Major of New York, and Fay (John) Pease of Pavilion; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends of Mary A. Palmer may call on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the 1st Baptist Church of Pavilion. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Pastors Sam McAllister and Dan Case officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Rest Cemetery in Bergen, N.Y. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N.
