Merle A. Arnold, 82, of Warsaw, passed away on April 21, 2021 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

He was born June 11, 1938 in Hume, N.Y., son of the late Maurice and Nellie Webb Arnold. Merle was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was employed for 44 years as a quality engineer first for the former Mallory Timers Co. in Warsaw from 1959 until their move in 1987. He continued to work for the company after they transitioned to the Emerson Appliance Control Co. in Frankfort, Indiana. He retired in 2003. Merle loved going for ice cream and meeting up with friends at the Silver Lake Restaurant in Warsaw for coffee and breakfast.

Surviving are his children, Delores (Javier) Perez of Frankfort, Ind., Daniel (Jill) Arnold of Oakfield; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his siblings, Marie (John) Zakarowski of South Carolina, Maurice (Marie) Arnold of Caneadea. He was the brother of the late Lee Arnold.
