Scott was born to David and Cheryl Landers on Feb. 12, 1970. He is a Churchville-Chili graduate. Shortly after graduation he began a swimming pool company which has run for 33 years, Splash Pools. Scott was an avid hunter and loved his card nights.
Scott is preceded in death by his father, David Landers.
Scott is survived by his mother, Cheryl Landers, and her husband, James Parmalee; his sister, Tricia Bressler, and her husband, Timothy Bressler; nieces, Kaylee and Megan; nephew, Hunter; his brother, Sean Landers; nephew, Zak.
Scott was a protector and loved his family and friends intensely. His passion for the outdoors led him to live like a neanderthal in the woods for the winter months. He spent many a morning admiring God’s creation from the Knob. If he wasn’t setting up a blind in the woods, he was bluffing at the table. He had many close friends who also enjoyed these lifestyles. Through the years, JD added to many a 4th of July and weekend events at the cabin. He shared trips to the Thousand Islands, where he’d spend hours with a pole in the water. While Scott would claim, “I’m just a pool guy,” we know his talents and passions were so much more than that. Most recently his company has mastered the art of inground relaxation. He is already missed by all and is an irreplaceable friend and confidant. We Love you Buddy.
