Sharon Kearns-Falcone of Batavia lost her courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. She was born June 5, 1947, in Batavia, to the late Roland M. (Nellie Lewandoske) Kearns. Sharon was also predeceased by her husband, Peter S. Falcone; and brother, Brian M. Kearns.

Sharon ran the concession stand at St. Mary’s Church Bingo for 15 years, where many people enjoyed her soups and pies. She was a member of The American Legion Auxiliary in Le Roy, where she and her family members catered many events. Besides cooking and baking, Sharon enjoyed trips to the casino, but most of all spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Tina) Marple of Canandaigua, Kathleen (Marty) Hein of Batavia; stepchildren, Peter (Theresa) Falcone of North Carolina; Frank Falcone, Michaleen Falcone, both of Batavia, and their families; grandchildren, Bobby (Linda) Dickinson, Brittany (Adam) Hein, Stacy (Eric) Hein, Chad (Miranda) Dickinson; great-grandchildren Olivia, Vinny, Payton, Emma, Colton, Harrison, Ani, Catherine, Gracie, Kacy and Brantley; sisters, Suzanne Kearns of Batavia, Barbara (Mike) Mittelstadt of Lockport; brother, William Kearns of Batavia; along with many nieces and nephews; also, her special friends Bob (Ruth) VanDorn, Dan (Judy) Ziccardi and Bob Dickinson.

Sharon’s family would like to thank the Wilmot Cancer Center, especially Dr. Kamath, and Dr. Fernaayes of Pembroke Family Medicine for their excellent care over the years along with VNA Home Care Services.

Services will be held privately for the family only. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia.
