Our nation’s Declaration of Independence plainly states that, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, liberty and the pursuit of Happiness – That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, That whenever any form of Government, becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
Those are fighting words. No wonder the Left and many liberal and/or progressive Democrats want to tear down statues of our Founding Fathers and erase our common history.
Those who forget their history are destined to repeat it and according to President Thomas Jefferson, “The tree of liberty must be watered from time to time, with the blood of Tyrants and Patriots!”
Soon these concepts will be considered “hate speech” by the likes of Biden, Pelosi and Schumer. Recently our Gov. Andrew Coumo traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, in order to assist them in their management of the surge in Covid 19 cases. Upon his return 25 hours later, King Coumo exempted himself from his 14 day self quarantine order, deeming himself to be an essential worker. I believe all legal professions are equally essential to their customers and proprietors. I also deem myself to be an essential sovereign citizen, not subject to any tyrant’s illegitimate authority. I do not consent!
New York State government has exceeded its constitutional role, usurping authority and dictating arbitrary rules and orders, into the legitimate spheres of the church, the family and private enterprise.
Meanwhile, our Democrat Governor and many Democrat Mayors tolerate lawlessness and anarchy in the streets, attacking the foundations of our constitutional republic. Tyrant Coumo would rather pick winners and losers amongst various NYS businesses instead.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, issues guidelines for businesses, schools etc... to reopen safely. Implementation of that guidance should be the prerogative of the various businesses and institutions impacted. They should be free to adapt their respective operations accordingly, without fear of governmental intervention and retribution.
Civil disobedience from the People is inevitable and in my opinion, righteous. People need to hold King Coumo accountable for many things, chiefly amongst them the death of over 6,500 of our senior citizens living in nursing homes.
To every thing there is a time and a season for every purpose under heaven. Their is a time for war and a time for peace, a time to kill and a time to heal.
The times they are a changin’ but, the only reason evil prevails is because good people do nothing.
Remember our Founding Fathers pledged their lives, fortunes and sacred honor. As for me and my house, I will serve the Lord but I will also live free or die.
