BATAVIA — The Batavia girls tennis team earned its first victory of the season, a 5-2 win over Greece Athena on Tuesday night. Leading the Blue Devils was Kylie Tatarka who recorded a 10-5 win in second singles over the Trojans’ Ally Calberg. Also winning in singles for Batavia was Savannah Freeman, who defeated Kaitlyn Veneron, 6-0 in second singles.

Batavia swept in doubles, as Maya Schrader and Casey Tatarka defeated Delaney Donohue and Moran Withrow in first doubles (10-9 [7-5]), Katelyn Witherow and Hannah Carney defeated Lucy Davis and Cassidy Hennigan (10-6) in second doubles, while Mikalina Pellegrino-Scott and Lillian Espinoza defeated Jayden Bunch and Victoria Torres in third doubles (10-2).
