ATTICA — The Attica boys soccer team continued its impressive start to the season with a convincing 3-1 win over visiting Kendall on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils got the scoring started just two minutes into the egame when Simon Lamparelli scored off of an assist from Jonah Clark. The game would remain at 1-0 through the first half.
Eight minutes into the second half the Blue Devils took a 2-0 lead on a header from defender Travis Kauffman off of a corner kick from Daniel Biniaszewski.
Fifteen minutes later Lamparelli would essentially put the game away with his second goal of the day with the helper from Evan Dickhut.
Nick Perl made seven saves in goal on the night as Attica moved to 3-1.
Kendall dropped to 1-3.
HOLLEY 1, BYRON-BERGEN/ELBA 0
Nathan Nothnagle scored off of an assist from KJ Biedlingmaier midway through the second half for the only goal the Hawks would need in the win.
Brock Ostrom made eight saves for the shutout between the pipes as Holley moved to 4-0.
