COHOCTON — Maveric McKenzie netted two goals while Landon Callabrese scored once as visiting Le Roy (1-0) opened their season with the 3-1 victory over host Wayland-Cohocton Wednesday night at the Elsie Tripp Sports Complex in Cohocton.

Way-Co would finally get on the board with eight minutes left when Markus Brehm scored.

Le Roy keeper Ken Saunders was outstanding in goal for the Knights with 10 saves.
