GENESEO — A rough 2019 season that included an opening round loss in the Section V Class C2 tournament was a distant memory for the Pavilion/York boys soccer team on Monday night.

Maybe the COVID-shortened season will be just what the doctor ordered for P/Y as it opened up with a 4-1 whipping of host Geneseo.

Freshman Kyan Tiede scored the only goal that P/Y would need on a free kick seven minutes into the game in the three-goal win over the Blue Devils.

Jackson Feltham would finish with a hat trick in the win for the Golden Gophers. Feltham scored at the 30-minute mark of the first half to make it 2-0 at the break and then again 15 minutes into the second half for the 3-0 advantage.

After Geneseo closed to 3-1, Feltham finished the scoring with a header off of a corner kick from Caleb Brooks for the opening night win.

Jacob Schiano led the way with two goals and an assist, while Riley Reese added a goal and two helpers in the easy opening win for the Indians.

Aidan Wood added a goal and an assist, Adam Hunt scored and Jordon Luther finished with an assist in the win for Keshequa.

Three different players scored in the shutout win in the opener for the Red Raiders.

Alex Carnes, Evan Raniwicz and Sebastian Kresge all found the back of the net, with Kresge adding an assist in the win.
