BUFFALO — Student-athlete Ethan Grover is one of 13 Canisius College players named to the 2020 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s All-Academic Soccer Team.
A member of the Canisius College Class of 2023, Grover is from Warsaw High School and pursuing a degree in Finance.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at his institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
The Canisius College Athletic Department scored its best semester on record in spring 2020, as all 20 varsity programs posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or better. Sixteen teams recorded a team GPA of 3.25 or higher, and the school’s 345 student-athletes combined to post a department grade point average of 3.41 for the term.

In 2018, Grover was named the Livingston County Class B-2 Player of the Year after recording 13 goals and 14 assists during his senior campaign for the LetSaw United boys soccer team. He finished his career with 39 goals and 37 assists.
