There were several blowouts in the Genesee Region League on Thursday night, as five teams came away with a win.
ELBA 55 OAKFIELD-ALABAMA 30
Brynn Walczak paced the Lancers with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Taylor Augello chipped in 15 points and grabbed five boards. Leah Bezon added seven points and seven rebounds, and Dakota Brinkman scored five points, grabbed eight boards and doled out four assists.
For the Hornets (1-2), Makena Reding led the way with 17 points and five rebounds.
Elba is now 5-0.
NOTRE DAME 53 KENDALL 34
Amelia McCulley continued her stretch of dominance with another 20-point performance in the Irish win over the Eagles. McCulley dropped 26 points and was supported by a double-digit night from Lindsey Weidman, who scored 10 points and secured five caroms.
Kendall (2-3) was led by Elizabth Snyder who dropped 16 points.
Notre Dame is now 4-1.
ALEXANDER 64 LYNDONVILLE 55
The Trojans and Tigers combined to knock down 12 three-pointers during the first half as Alexander rolled to another GR win. Alexander is now 4-0.
Natalie Whitmore propelled the Trojans with 21 points and 10 boards and Allison Mileham chipped in 19 points and five rebounds.
Lorelei Dillenbeck scored 23 points for Lyndonville (0-3) and Ella Lewis had 16 points.
ATTICA 41 BYRON-BERGEN 34
The Blue Devils got back on the winning track as Ashley Harmon scored eight points and grabbed 11 boards to lead the way. Makenna Jarnot and Chase Harding added seven points for Attica.
For the Bees (1-3), Sasha Schramm and Maddie Pimm each scored eight points.
Attica is 3-1.
PEMBROKE 63 HOLLEY 14
The Dragons benefitted from a big night from Emily Peters who scored 23 points to pace the blowout win. Serene Calderon added 10 points and seven rebounds, while Ariel Moss scored nine points and secured six caroms.
Pembroke is now 3-1. Holley is 0-4.
