With no sports to follow quite yet, fans are searching for any semblance of news to discuss.

This week it was Madden ratings.

Rumored ratings surfaced online over the weekend and without delay NFL fans everywhere took to social media to express their opinions on where their favorite players and favorite team stack up against the rest of the league.

For Bills fans, many suffered from great disappointment upon realizing that only one Bills’ player was rated with a 90 overall or better, and Josh Allen didn’t fall within the top-10 rated players on the team.

The highest-rated Bills’ player? Stefon Diggs with a 92 overall.

Second-year first round draft pick Ed Oliver? He is rated an 81 overall.

Tre’Davious White? A disappointing 89 overall.

Rounding out the top-10 Bills players are Micah Hyde with a rumored 88 overall, Jordan Poyer with an 85 overall, Cole Beasley with an 83 overall, Jerry Hughes with an 82 overall, Devin Singletary with an 82 overall, Mitch Morse with an 82 overall and John Brown with an 82 overall.

Josh Allen checks in at 77 overall, one point shy of new Patriots’ quarterback Cam Newton who is rumored to be a 78 overall.

The lowest rated Bills’ player? It’s rumored to be long snapper Reid Ferguson with a whopping 35 overall.

Perhaps the biggest disgrace to Bills fans was the team’s overall defensive grade, a slim 83. The offense is an 80 overall and the team as a whole is rumored to rated an 81 overall.

The Bills will have to prove it on the field, but if these ratings are any indication of how the Bills are going to fare this year -

Oh, wait. They’re not.

Carry on.
