GAINESVILLE — It was Senior Night for the Letchworth volleyball team and the Indians celebrated by picking up a big, four-set, LCAA Division II win over Warsaw on Tuesday night.

Set scores were 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-21.

The win moved Letchworth to 5-2 in the division and 11-3 overall, while the Tigers fell to 3-3, 9-4.

Brooke DeGroff led the way in the win at the net with 10 big kills, while Morgan Brace handed out 15 assists to go with four aces.

Delaney Bean also had a solid night with five kills and a trio of aces for the Indians.

For Warsaw, Kourtney Keefer had 14 digs and Kaylee Herman finished with 18 assists in the tough loss.

Deanna Johnson-Meyer added seven kills and four aces, Erin Daughtry had five aces and eight digs and Gianna Giron was strong with seven kills to the Tigers.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

ALEXANDER over BYRON-BERGEN

Sam Sawyer had a monster night with 12 kills, 13 digs and two blocks as the Trojans rallied from a set down to top the Bees in four — 23-25, 25-15, 26-24, 25-19.

Alyssa Kramer added six kills and four aces and Adeline Kautz handed out 20 assists to go with four aces as Alexander improved to 11-3.

PAVILION over PERRY

Paige Landers had 13 service points and six aces and Adeline Milligan finished with seven kills, four aces and 12 digs as the Golden Gophers remained perfect.

Set scores were 25-10, 25-10, 25-17.

Lauren Kingsley added 10 kills in the win for Pavilion.

For Perry, Leah Fisher had four aces, 10 assists and three digs and Jayden McClurg added four kills and seven digs.

DANSVILLE over WAY-CO

Abi Henderson had seven aces and 10 assists and Tessa Gregorius added four aces, five digs and four kills as the Mustangs coasted to the easy win — 25-15, 25-5, 25-14.

Also for Dansville, Emma Heiman had three kills and two digs, Samantha Mackey had four digs, two kills and two aces, Erin Patenella had four aces and three kills and Brooke Coombs finished with five aces and a pair of kills, while Samantha Bishop and Caitlyn Conroy each had two digs.

Dansville is now 6-1, 8-5.

GENESEO over CAL-MUM

Megan Bailey had six kills and eight digs and Tiffani Aho dished out 14 assists as the Blue Devils won in three — 25-17, 25-19, 26-24.

Montgomery Kessler had 24 digs and Fiona Maruska chipped in with nine assists for the Raiders.

Jackson Feltham scored the only goal of the game off a Zack Tillotson assist 15 minutes in as the Golden Gophers edged the Blue Devils.

Freshman Tim Lonnen made eight saves in net for the shutout for P/Y.

KESHEQUA 4, WAY-CO 2

Nathan Thayer finished with a hat trick and Reese Powers had three assists as the Indians edged the Eagles.

Ian Hinrich added a goal, Sterling Strain had an assist and Dan Burley led a solid defensive effort as Keshequa moved to 13-2.

GIRLS SOCCER

EASTRIDGE 3, OAE 2 (OT)

Macy Altamirano and Christina Bartholomew each scored in the losing effort for the United on Tuesday.

Piper Hyde added an assist, while Lily Davis stopped nine shots in between the pipes in the losing effort for OAE.

LE ROY 3, BATAVIA 0

Ashley Michel scored a pair of goals and the Oatkan Knights broke a 0-0 tie at the half with three tallies after the break in the win over the Blue Devils at Hartwood Park.

Megan Benware scored the first goal of the night for Le Roy and also added an assist, Bella Condidorio added an assist and Katelyn Everett had six saves in goal for the shutout.
