Child rapist again loses appeal

ALBANY — A state appellate court for the second time has rejected a convicted child rapist’s efforts to get youthful offender status.

Leonard E. Hahn IV. who was 17 when he was convicted of raping two children in the town of Alabama and in Attica, had sought to overturn his conviction in Wyoming County, claiming County Court “erred in failing to determine on the record whether he should be afforded youthful offender status.”
