A spritz of rain – not enough the spoil the evening – was all that was needed to bring a little sparkle to Genesee County on Thursday.

Picture-perfect rainbows formed in Batavia and Le Roy, including a double rainbow, that prompted readers (and Daily News staff members) to snap and share what they saw.

“It was very brightly colored,” wrote Joan Macrae in a Facebook comment on The Daily News page.

Among the images, a football practice at Faith Community Church in Le Roy, and from Batavia a double rainbow over the HP Hood plant, a rainbow arching over KMS Dance Academy in Batavia and a rainbow outside Van Detta Stadium.
