LOCKPORT — A young Medina woman was shot and killed and five others were wounded at a Halloween party early Saturday morning, Lockport police said.
Cheyenne Farewell, a 2018 graduate of Medina High School, was killed after gunfire erupted at a party at 43 South Niagara St.
Lockport police were called to the house at 12:20 a.m. and found that six people had been shot. Farewell was “near the incident location” and died as a result of injuries.
The other five were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Police said all of the victims were at the party.
No arrests have been made.
Farewell was a member of the National Honor Society at Medina High School and was a member of the girls’ soccer team.
